Target Announces Tracy Feith for Target as the next GO International Collection

Retailer continues to offer great design at unbeatable prices with designer Tracy Feith’s exclusive, limited-edition line.
 
MINNEAPOLIS (April 2009) — Target is partnering with designer Tracy Feith to create the next limited-edition collection for GO International,® an innovative program designed to provide affordable fashion created by world-renowned designers. Feith, celebrated for his barefoot luxury embodied in signature bold prints and exquisite fit, will launch an exclusive collection on Target.com/go and at most Target stores nationwide on May 17, 2009. His amazingly priced spring collection of women’s apparel will be available through June 20, 2009.

Texas-born Tracy Feith has been on the fashion scene for over two decades with a decidedly unorthodox approach. As a skateboarder in the early ’80s, Feith started customizing his own skate clothes to express his free-spirited, punk personality. Enjoying this foray into design, Feith decided to refine his skills at art school, where a class intrigued him to further explore fashion design. Following school, Feith worked at various garment factories where he taught himself how to create and produce beautiful clothes, eventually developing his own aesthetic that is described as Bohemian luxury.

Over the last 25 years, Feith has launched a brand that is known as elegant, yet undeniably cool and looks as good on the beach as it does on the red carpet. Feith’s apparel is made in Manhattan and his designs are now sold via four independently owned stores (Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Hamptons and L.A.), as well as a select few high-end specialty boutiques across the country.
