Simon Dumont, Mat Hoffman, Kevin Robinson, Anthony Napolitan and Will Love to Hand-Deliver Wish List Gifts and Spend Day with St. Jude Patients
WHAT: Some of today’s top professional action sports athletes will make a special appearance at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® on Wednesday, December 13 for the annual Target House Holiday Party. Target-sponsored athletes including freeskiier Simon Dumont and Team Hoffman members Kevin Robinson, Anthony Napolitan, Will Love and Hoffman himself, will hand-deliver holiday gifts to St. Jude patients and their families. To brighten the holiday season for kids receiving life-saving treatment at St. Jude, families across the country purchased gifts in November by clicking on the St. Jude Wish List posted at Target.com.
WHO: Simon Dumont Dumont is considered a leader in the new competitive sport of freeskiing and is one of the top Superpipe riders in the world. In 2004, Dumont scored top rankings by winning gold in the Winter X Games Superpipe and captured another gold medal in Superpipe at the 2005 Winter X Games.
Team Hoffman
Mat Hoffman Hoffman is the key pioneer and innovator in BMX Freestyle, bringing the sport into mainstream. Hoffman’s awards include ten-time World Champion, six X Games medals and a 2002 ESPN Action Sports Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2004, Guinness Book of World Records recognized him as the High Air World Record Holder on a BMX bike for clearing a 26.5 feet above 24-foot-tall vertical quarter-pipe.
Kevin Robinson A veteran member of Team Hoffman, Robinson's double flair (a double back flip into a corkscrew) earned him a Summer X Games Gold in the 2006 BMX Freestyle Vert Best Trick contest. Robinson also went on to win Gold in BMX Big Air the same year.
Anthony Napolitan A leading innovator in the sport of BMX Freestyle, Napolitan recently claimed 1st place in Dirt competition at the Panasonic Open and captured a bronze medal in the 2006 Summer X Games, before going on to win the overall crown in BMX Dirt Jumping at the 2006 Dew Action Sports Tour.
Will Love One of the newest members to join Team Hoffman, Love is featured in the new team video just before sustaining a knee injury that kept him from riding for half of the year. He’s recovered and looking forward to 2007.

SUMMARY: Funded by Target and its vendor and celebrity partners, Target House is a unique long-term housing facility for families with children receiving life-saving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As an extension of St. Jude’s commitment to care for children regardless of the family’s ability to pay, Target House provides fully furnished two-bedroom apartments, free-of-charge. St. Jude is the largest pediatric cancer research center in the world in terms of the number of patients enrolled in research protocols and successfully treated.
