Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk Biography

Jovovich-Hawk was established by actress Milla Jovovich and designer Carmen Hawk in L.A. in 2003.  Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk design clothes that encompass the belief of "feel good, look great, feel bad, look great." Friends for over 10 years, they share the view that clothes have to be wearable, comfortable and need not make a spectacle of the wearer. Jovovich-Hawk makes clothes that are relevant to the lives of independent, hard-working, creative, funny, elegant and romantic women.

The L.A.-based label is currently in its ninth season. The first collection was bought exclusively by Fred Segal - one of the most respected boutiques in America - and sold out almost instantly. The second season was a far more comprehensive collection and met with an equally enthusiastic reception with Fred Segal re-ordering midway through the season.

Jovovich-Hawk has built a considerable following among fashion editors and actresses, including Kate Hudson, Mischa Barton, Kate Bosworth, Rumer Willis and Gennifer Goodwin. The label continues to build a fan base around the world and is now stocked in stores such as Barney's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-A-Porter and ShopBop in the U.S., as well as high-end retailers Europe and Asia.

The exclusive Jovovich-Hawk for Target collection of women's fashion and accessories is part of the GO International® initiative at Target. GO International, which provides affordable luxury from world-renowned designers, will feature the Jovovich-Hawk for Target collection in select Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from March 2, 2008, through mid-April.
