Target Partners with Designers Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison for Limited-Edition Footwear Collection
MINNEAPOLIS (September 2008) — Target is partnering with accessories designers Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison to launch a limited-edition footwear collection, Sigerson Morrison for Target®. This modern, chic and affordable collection is the third footwear launch in a series of limited-time-only accessory designers at Target. The Sigerson Morrison for Target collection will be available at most Target stores nationwide and at Target.com October 12 through December 26, 2008.
The Sigerson Morrison for Target collection is sleek and stylish with strong detailing including studs and jewels, perfect for the holidays. The collection includes booties, pumps and flats available in black, cobalt blue, silver, metallic shades of purple and aqua in rich textures, including suedes and patents. This sophisticated and festive collection is perfect for day or night and adds a fashionable finishing touch to any look. The exclusive Sigerson Morrison for Target collection ranges in price from $29.99 to $39.99. Their high-end collection can range in price from $350 to $595.

Sigerson Morrison was launched in New York City in 1991 by Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison. The designers, who met while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology, were united by a simple design philosophy: "Style, rather than fashion, is key." It is this shared philosophy that brought the designers to combine their talents, first in a small studio for their handmade designs and eventually into a fully produced line.
In February 1997, the designers were awarded the prestigious CFDA Perry Ellis Award for Best New Accessory Designers.
