Target-Sponsored Race Car Drivers Deliver Holiday Gifts to St. Jude Patients on

Scott Dixon, Dan Wheldon and Reed Sorenson to Make Special Appearance and Deliver Wish List Gifts for St. Jude Patients
WHAT: To help brighten the holiday season for kids receiving life-saving treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, the Target Chip Ganassi Racing IndyCar drivers Scott Dixon and Dan Weldon and NASCAR driver Reed Sorenson will hand-deliver gifts to and sign autographs for patients and their families on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 during the annual Target House Holiday Party. People from across the country purchased the gifts for St. Jude patients and their siblings in November by clicking on the St. Jude Wish List posted at Target.com.
WHO: Scott Dixon - In the 2007 IndyCar Series season, Scott Dixon posted four wins, including three consecutive victories, two pole positions, led 215 laps and finished either first or second in ten of 17 races. He finished runner-up in the Championship which came down to the last turn, of the last lap, of the final race of the season. 2008 will be his seventh year as a member of Target Chip Ganassi Racing.
Dan Wheldon - After finishing runner-up in the 2006 IndyCar Series Championship, Wheldon began the season in grand form with a pole position and third consecutive win at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. He followed that up with a second win at Kansas Speedway and continued to be a championship contender throughout the season, finishing fourth in the 2007 IRL points standings.
Reed Sorenson - Since being promoted to full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup driver by Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) in 2006, Reed Sorenson has set his sights on becoming a series standout. In 2007, he captured three top fives, one of which was a career best third-place finish at his hometown track of Atlanta Motor Speedway, and six top-10 finishes. Additionally, he won his first pole at the coveted Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sorenson also ran a limited Busch Series schedule, winning at Gateway International Raceway and finishing with two top fives and five top 10s.

SUMMARY: Funded by Target and its vendor and celebrity partners, Target House is a unique long-term housing facility for families with children receiving life-saving treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As an extension of St. Jude's commitment to care for children regardless of the family's ability to pay, Target House provides fully furnished two-bedroom apartments, free-of-charge. St. Jude is the largest pediatric cancer research center in the world in terms of the number of patients enrolled in research protocols and successfully treated.
